Wedding Dress Packing Tips

1. Call your airline to find out how they recommend packaging your gown. Some offer closet space where you can hang your dress.
2. Purchase a garment bag.
3. Stuff your dress with acid-free, non-dyed tissue paper to retain its shape (stuff the bodice and sleeves until full), then place the dress in a waterproof bag for extra protection.
4. Place the gown into the garment bag (you can fold the train once at the bottom if you need extra room).
5. If you're traveling by car, you can drape the dress (inside the garment bag) across the seat or hang by the window.
